October 23rd Australian comedy superstar Shad Wicka is coming in hot to headline a killer lineup for our famous Wednesday night comedy and this is a show we absolutely can not wait to kick off. Shad is one of the fastest and funniest jokesters in the country and is guaranteed to have you howling all evening long. Joining him to host the show is Brisbane killer and crowd-favourite Chris Martin to warm us up and introduce our incredible support acts for the evening.

He's been a popular radio host, a staple MC in clubs around Queensland, and now Shad Wicka can be heard across the country (and the world!) with his new incredibly popular podcast, Shad and Pete Save the World. But you'll want to catch him on stage using that cynicism and wit that gets him in a lot more trouble than it should. A few festival shows and no awards. But who needs them? He's got jokes and they're great.

Chris Martin is a comedian and a director of Big Fork Theatre, a Brisbane based comedy theatre that recently had a sell-out run at the 2018 Brisbane Comedy Festival. Apart from being a 2017 Raw Comedy state finalist, he’s also studied improv at the renowned iO Theatre in Chicago with some of the best comedic improvisers in the world. Chris has performed in several festivals like the Adelaide Fringe Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Brisbane Comedy Festival to name a few. Chris’ combination of surreal and storytelling comedy has made him a rising star in Brisbane comedy and one of Australia’s most promising up and coming stand-up comedians.
